Welcome to the website of Christ the King Church, conveniently located off Main Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Christ the King is a mission of the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America.

Whether you are searching for a local church or are curious about what CEC-NA and 3 Streams of Worship are all about, we invite you to come in and look around.

If you have a prayer request, feel free to submit it to us using the form below.

Our 3 Values:
Glorify the Lord, make disciples, and bring people into a
life-changing relationship with Jesus.

Loving Him, Loving One Another

Christ the King Church of Wakefield exists to lift up Jesus and the message
of His redeeming love and grace to the community of Wakefield
and beyond, the best way we know how.

Coming Back to the
Heart of Worship

At Christ the King Church we purpose to put all of the focus on Jesus in everything we do. From the layout of the sanctuary to the flow of the service, (liturgy) the primary goal is to lift Him up. The beautiful contemporary music, the responsive readings, the teaching from the Bible all point to Him and Him alone.

We recognize that you may not be at all familiar with a liturgical/sacramental style of worship. That is absolutely fine, and we would welcome you regardless! Most of the attendees are new to this style of worship, too. If you are unfamiliar and are exploring, you may like to read a more detailed description of what you would experience if you were to visit. We have provided one here.

We Believe...

in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.

(Nicene Creed, Excerpt)

How May We Pray for You?

We would love to know how we can be praying for you if you would like to share something with us. Please feel free to send us a message with this form, and know that we will bring your prayer requests to the Lord for you when we gather.

(Nicene Creed, continued)
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from
the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified
under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death
and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven and
is seated at the
right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son, he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
